Biography
Doc. Mgr. Martin Drlík, PhD. (ORCID:0000-0002-5958-7147) is a professor at the Department of Informatics and Vice-Dean for External Relations and Development. His primary research interests in the education domain lie in learning analytics, educational data mining, AI in education, and teaching computer science. He teaches courses on database systems, data and software engineering, and IT project management. He has actively participated in projects related to educational data mining, learning analytics, and artificial intelligence, and served as the Erasmus+ project coordinator for FITPED and FITPED-GAI projects. His expertise in learning analytics enabled analysis of user behavior across various applications, identifying suitable methods for monitoring behavior, classifying user types, and optimizing engagement in virtual environments.
