Biography

RNDr. Ján Skalka, PhD. (ORCID:0000-0003-2211-2794), is an associate professor and head of the department, as well as the coordinator of the FITPED-AI project. His educational experience focuses on programming languages, modern technologies, and user behavior in virtual environments. His specialization includes software engineering, application development, learning analytics, user behaviour and AI application development. He developed and led a computer games specialization within the Applied Science study program. Additionally, he is the architect of the Priscilla educational system, developed as part of the FITPED-AI project. He has coordinated numerous national and EU-funded research projects.
